Paula Q. Wallace, LUTCF, CLTC

Agent/Owner

Paula loves to educate her clients and help them shop for the best option to solve their individual or families need for financial protection. It gives her great satisfaction to work with people who eventually become not only a client….but a friend as well.

Paula got her Life and Health insurance license in 2000 and started her career with ING, Life of Georgia. While representing this one insurance company, she realized that there was a bigger world out there and she wanted to give her clients more choices. She also started working on becoming a subject matter expert of life and health insurance. She has taken many classes and reads a lot of insurance material to have a great knowledge foundation and up to date information. She obtained her LUTCF designation in 2008.

In 2003, she formed PQ Wallace Insurance Consultants, LLC. In the fall of 2005, she accepted an offer to work with Humana Marketpoint. At that point, she showed only Humana medical insurance products but was still able to shop other companies for life, disability, fixed annuity, and long-term care insurance. In April 2009, Paula and Humana parted ways, allowing Paula to return to being an Independent Insurance Agent who can represent a wide variety of life and health insurance companies.

Paula enjoys working with people of all age ranges and has a passionate interest in insurance. As she tells people, she had always wanted to be “an insurance agent.” Paula also has an extensive knowledge of the pre-senior and senior market that most other insurance agents do not possess. She specializes in Medicare insurance options and long-term care insurance policies. She annually has to pass tests in order to be able to sell the most current products. In 2010 Paula obtained Long-Term Care Certification. She is also certified by the State of Virginia to sell “partnership LTCi plans.” Paula works from her home office and prefers to meet with clients at their home or office. She is very flexible with appointment days and times. She believes that referrals are the greatest compliment.

Paula and her husband Bill of 37 years have resided in Carrollton since 1987. Paula is actively involved in her church and community. She has served twice as President of the Carrollton Woman’s Club of the GFWC. She also is proud of her membership in the South of the James Business Network, the Virginia Peninsula Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, NAIFA, Western Tidewater Task Force on Aging, Woman’s Waye, North Suffolk Rotary and the Peninsula Women’s Network.

Her hobbies include flower gardening, traveling, cooking, reading, swimming, bicycling, and shade gardening.
